Brian Baldinger

I am writing this correspondence on behalf of my friend and my trainer, Andrew Hurst. After 12 years in the NFL as an offensive lineman and after passing the milestone of age 50 my body was screaming for help.
Through a radio advertisement that I was a paid consultant for, I was introduced to Andrew as part of an age management group. After agreeing to the conditions I began training with Andrew in June of 2011. At that time every orthopaedic surgeon in America was trying to sign me up for knee replacement surgery. I was steadfast in my belief that I was too young (51) for that surgery. I told Andrew that my immediate goal was to create comfort in my joints but still attack my core muscles to stay in playing shape.
Almost 8 years later I have never felt better and believe that I can stave off all joint replacement procedures for a LONG TIME TO COME.
While training as a pro athlete I encountered many many different types of training methods using a variety of machines and technology. All had various results from favorable to ridiculous injury to recover from. Andrew is the only person I have encountered along the way that can fully explain both his methods and the reason for my success.
There is not a high enough recommendation that I could give to Andrew Hurst. I have sent him other former athletes that are having similar results.
It is here that I put my name, Brian Baldinger, behind this letter of recommendation.

I'm in better shape now than when I played.  I haven't had an old injury cause an issue in 7 years with Andrew.  If I knew what Andrew has taught me, when I was playing, I'd have played for another 5 years, and wouldn't have had nearly the amount of injuries.

Andrew helped supervise my body as it grew into itself, strengthen my muscles as I stopped growing, and now helps maintain my muscles as I play Squash at UPenn. I started working with Andrew at a young age of 14 while I was still going through puberty and he created a specific workout that he knew would allow my body to still grow while building muscle. I began to play squash at age 15 and the workouts transformed to help target specific squash muscles to help me excel. Eventually, I was able to become a top 10 squash player in the country in just 4 years largely in part because Andrew gave me the physical advantage that no one else had. Not only that, Andrew helped me through my one serious injury I had in my squash career by creating a rehabilitative workout program that I had never seen before. My bad hips were suddenly cured by doing obscure exercises for my lower back and legs and deep stretches that Andrew showed me. I was back on the court way before my doctor had predicted and didn't take too long to get back to playing 100%. With Andrew's expertise on the human body and weight training, he can find out what somebody's goals are physically and create an individually tailored workout to help clients reach their goals. Simply put, I would not be where I am today without Andrew.
